I was curious to see if anyone had a reliable build to farm the Kveldulf & Fenrir in HM. It appears that they will drop some of the new DaW skins and I think it would provide a nice place to work.

I tried a standard 55 mo, 55 nec, vwk war, havent tried my ele yet, but with savage slash being so prominent I am afraid that you will have to use glyph on concentration or something like it to keep your main enchants alive

I use the solo green farmer Ele/A and works ok...

Mantra of resolve would probably milk you dry of energy almost immediately if you were taking on more than a couple. You can pull 2 at a time for several of them, but Fenrir's party seems to have about 5-6 plus himself. He also has Leader's Comfort on him. But with 6+ savage slashes on recharge depending on your build you would be at 0e pretty quick. I had planned on testing the E/A sliver build to see if i can use the glyph but still stuck at work =\

600/smite works just fine. either 600 rit or 600 monk.

Renewal Sliver tank with Ether Feast, Channeling and Mantra of Resolve is able to kill him, but the Kveldufs' Power Attack still hits through, so a self heal is required. Depends largely on where Fenrir actually spawns.

Put about 5 seconds of thought into a build, and after a quick skill-check and a long run, I got this

[build prof=Monk/Mesmer ProtectionPrayers=12 Domination=12 Inspiration=9 HealingPrayers=7 DivineFavor=6 ][Protective Spirit][Shield of Absorption][Shielding Hands][Mantra of Resolve][Empathy][Mending][Balthazar's Spirit][Essence Bond][/build]

Just be sure to hat change (to Healing) at the beginning for mending, then Prot hat the rest of the way.

600/Smite is definitly better though, but if you really want to solo it, ^ there you go

EDIT: Changed to build template to play with the new BBcode =)

run there, start your chain, keep sf up, pull everything, get them stuck between that rock and the wall, degen to death. 3-4min done.

switch out heart of shadow for cry of pain, kill fenrir too, run becomes ~6mins.

I came up with something similar, except with Mending and Empathy replaced with SoJ and Balthazar's Aura/Symbol of Wrath.

I have both my ele and monk there and have tried the both E/A shadow form sliver, and a 55 variant, and I can easily say the 55 was much more effecient. The E/A needs to have very nice pulling/grouping and can't get the shadow form recharge it needs 100% of the time. But, due to my very high ping and fear of narrow paths, I can not run the E/A optimaly, so I'm slightly biased.
